The detailed scope of work of geotechnical investigation for the project was limited to the following.

Mobilization of equipment and personnel to the project site, setting up the equipment and carrying out the field investigation and demobilization of the same after completion of field activities.

Drilling 24.0 Nos. of 100 – 150 mm dia. bore holes using shell and auger up to the depth of 25.0 m or refusal whichever occurs earlier.

Conducting standard penetration test at regular intervals or at the change of strata which ever is earlier and also collection of each SPT sample for laboratory test.

Collection of the disturbed and undisturbed soil sample at suitable interval or at the change of the strata whichever is earlier.

Conducting all relevant laboratory test on samples collected from the bore holes as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Recording the sub soil water table in the bore hole (if observed).
